Twenty Questions.

Golly and I have to be happy with my little dinky Ridgit belt/ spindle sander I just bought last month! But just so you know a belt sander was my first guess, if you hadn't disqualified me!

Wow that's a big fellow! How much juice will that take to run 60A?

I think it's close to 100 amps at 208V. 25hp on the first head, 20hp on the second head, and the feed belt motor I think is 1½hp. It's pulling some juice.

Paul, I didn't disqualify you. You just unknowingly asked two questions. ;)

Way to go Karl. I like your style. Keep increasing productivity.
I think of this like a Las Vegas hotel. More capacity allows you to take on more volume within same time. Cannot buy more hours in a day. And if you doing the turnover in revenue you need some tax deductable expenses. I have lost track with what IRS rules are currently for capital equipment under 100k a year or so ago you could take the full amount in one year if it helped. Get a good tax accountant if u dont have one.

So where is the next bottle neck in your shop? You got enough space left in the "new" place?
