A First for Me

Nothing wrong with being old.

Somebody's gotta do it.

Better us guys and gals with some experiance under our belt,

because without us, in many instances things would be even harder

than they are today for the younger generation(s).

Wear your age with dignity, and expect/demand the respect that that you are due!

Free coffee at McDonalds--yah baby!, but there is a whole lot more to it than that.

You nailed it, Carol. :D I know I'm old, but a gentleman? Pu-leeze!

My pool league team is made up of six guys in their mid to late 20s, me (in my mid-50s) and George, who is somewhere north of 60. The young guys are always giving George and me a hard time about being the old guys, and we just dish it right back. Last night one of the guys was yanking my chain about my age (as I was beating him at 9-ball, by the way), and I told him "Dude, I've got food in my fridge that's older than you!"

Yeah. My line is, "I've got socks older than you!"
