Jim,
I over turn the maple blank, sand, apply 2 coats of MINWAX Polyurethane, apply the decal, apply 2 coats of MINWAX Polyurethane , cast with Polyester Resin, turn to match the components, sand to 400X, buff with extra fine steel wool and polish with Huts Ultra Gloss.
