De-fib post-op

Mack Cameron

In Memorium
Yesterday was my post-op exam for my ICD.

I came away with both Good News & Bad News.

The Good News first: The doctors determined the batteries in my ICD would last for 7 - 10 years,

the Bad News they couldn't tell me how long I would last!

This has me wondering "What kind of doctors are they?" (LOL)

Actually, the team of doctors were the best that anyone could hope for! They each were rewarded with a "One-of-a-Kind" pen.

That's the problem with medicine Mack..."this will last that long and that will last this long...but..."
I don't see you slowing down anytime soon!

It would be very hard to more glad to hear this news, Mack. So glad things worked out. As for the bad news, well, that would be the same news we all get as to how long we have left on this ball of earth.

Don't give them a chance to get more pens Mack! Or at least for that reason! With one they have enough. Now go back to that lathe with renewed energies. :thumb:
