More Vertical Lumber Storage

One of the things on my to-do list for the weekend was to rotate a storage cabinet I have 90 degrees to make room for more vertical lumber storage. It used to look like this:



I gained the space show in the following pic between the blue metal cabinet and the gloves hanging on the end of the old rack.



I had all the material that is now in the new rack stacked in front of the old rack which pretty much made the whole setup useless. Much better now

I see some really nice wood in there. Gotta make something nice.

This thread would have been more meaningful if I hadn't pulled a total fail on the "before" pictures. I have been trying to do more manual manipulation of my camera and sometimes fail to enable the flash and end up with nice, dark, useless, pictures. Shame on me for not checking before I proceeded with the effort. Anyway I went looking for a picture that would better show what I have before as opposed to after the 90* turn of the blue metal cabinet. I don't know if this helps as much as the shots I failed on might have but . . .



Basically I picked up 20" of lineal wallspace to store wood ;-)

Little by little, a little becomes a lot!
