Skew Chisles

A couple more - these show the bevel angles reasonably clearly and highlights a few common oopsies more clearly. However if the only thing you took home from these videos was trying the cuts with the lathe OFF to see how the edge works I think it would be time well spent. I spent a fair bit of time going back and forth doing that when I started with the skew and sometimes still do it when I'm not sure on a cut angle. Turn the lathe off, try taking the cut by hand turning the spindle, then try the same cut with the lathe on. Really educational about how the chisel actually removes (or should remove) wood.
