Brought my new bandsaw home this weekend, it's a 16" Walker Turner from sometime near the 50's. Need to fix a couple loose ends here and there and once it's 100% they I can tear it down and start the refurb. The only parts really needed is the thrust bearings which can be bought new for about $40. Oh, and I am looking for an old school on/off motor starter switch & box if anyone has one, please let me know.

Here is a photo of my new project.

Jim, those are the best looking smaller bandsaws out there IMHO. I have always admired their styling. Never got to use one but I am sure they work great.

Look forward to the restoration of it!

Thanks guys, I will keep you all posted. There are a couple projects before this that I need to finish up first. I also want to get a few details ironed out and a mobile base made before I tear it apart again.

Tools older than me? Well heck.. I know of at least one older than my dad in my shop too!!
