Actually two cauldron! Although one is more of a squashed amphora so maybe one cauldron, one amphora...

Cauldron: 13.5" x 6.5" with 1/4" thick wall increasing to 3/8" on the bottom for some added stability.

Thanks all.

Ted: I've been queuing them up - the failures tend to hide their heads in the shop :D

Rob: well I probably spent about 2-3 hours per rough turning and another 2-3 finish turning plus say an hour of finish sanding and finishing on each piece. From start to end they took just about 6 months with the drying time in the middle (some time spent shuffling them in and out of bags there as well). That's not counting shavings shoveling time - from the pickup truck load of blanks I ended up with 7-8 wheelbarrow loads of shavings :D

Brent: you'd like the moss less if you saw how good it is at migrating to the roof :pullhair: I really need to put in some zinc strips! Looks nice on the wall though.
