Just for the sake of starting some conversation around here, I'll toss this out there . I have a 90* ZCI, the stock ZCI (which is loose enough to allow blade tilt) and a dado insert. Obviously I only use one at a time. I used to hang them on pegs on the side of something or other but, built this tablesaw drawer unit after someone on here built one and made me start a-thinkin' "hey, I could use something like that".
.
I mostly swap between the 90* ZCI and the dado insert so the drawer that holds my dado stacks and cartridge seemed a likely spot.
I took some foam that I had saved from the packaging of one thing or another. I cut notches to accept the insert's locking mechanism and contact cemented this L shape. It sets in the drawer to keep the slick phenolic inserts from slipping around whenever I open and shut the drawer.
.
One insert goes one way and the other nests on top of it.
