My refurbished $20.00 garage sale table saw was giving me fits. Wouldn't finish a cut without stopping the blade. Didn't take long to figure out my new belt had stretched way beyond usefulness. I got it at Orschelin's, it is a DEVCO brand. Under an hour use and now useless. I had seen positive comments about link belts and wanted to give them a try but the prices were a deterrent. Then I saw an ad for them from Harbor Freight at $25.00. Worth a try. Installing was easier than the instructions would lead one to believe.
And, now, as others have reported it has made a dramatic change. Saw runs smoothly (HF calls it a "vibration free" belt) and blade just seems to whistle. I swear it is running faster. Color me happy.
