This is a bit different in style, but I thought it came out nice. Lots of neat coloration to it being it's hackberry. Where some of my thinking on the basic shape was that there are probably a lot of people who don't have all that much room on their dining table and need a larger capacity bowl. Well, this fits that just fine. It is 12 1/4" in diameter, 5 3/4" high, and 4 3/4" deep. It will hold a lot of stuff, and as the late great George Carlin said, "Everybody has to have a place to put their stuff!" Anyway, this bowl will hold a lot, has some decent curvature to it, and a nice solid foot to prevent possible tipping. It was sealed as I always do with walnut oil and then polished with a walnut oil/shellac mixture. Hope you all like it.

Nice bowl there Dave, I like the shape of it.

It looks a lot better then the hackberry funnel I made yesterday.:(

Had a really nice piece about 7" diameter and was all finished, good looking bowl, then proceeded to cut the bottom out when I took the tenon off.
