Custom cherry stand & canopy

That is fantastic!!! I was at first wondering how easy access would be through those small doors, then I see the picture of the full opening front, fantastic!!! Well done:)
 
Nice piece Joe. I'll agree with Tom than the flip up top was a stroke of genius! Nice clean work on the rest of it as well.

Did you do any special re-enforcing inside to handle the weight of the water or was a standard cabinet build deemed sufficient?

Also glad to hear you're back at it, a torn rotator cuff is no joke!

Glad you're on the mend. I know firsthand how long it takes for a torn rotator cuff to heal.
 
The framing is 2"x4" This is a picture of how I did a different stand . The solid wood is 13/16 which helps also. I think it's a over build but then I never had a complaint.
