Not that I was looking forward to it! Busy, busy with the day job through out the weekend and through the end of the month.

But some CNC work is scheduled. Unfortunately it is not in the top 5 of things that need doing. However, hope springs eternal.

Family coming over tonight for beer and pizza, maybe a fire outside. Tomorrow the wife is busy with friends so the girl and I get to play...not sure what we'll do yet. Sunday will be shop clean up and some yard work. The girl starts 5th grade next week so last weekend of summer for her...seems like it flew by!

Yesterday closed down the garden. Put to rest for the season. Now a little yard clean up and good to go. Getting cooler so out to the shop.
Need to look for swap project. Don't want to rush into anything. Also have desk in works for LOML. Need to get that finished. Also Friday night high school rivalry football game to attend. The team we play are 5 times straight state champions. We'll see. Get to watch NASCAR Sunday on Chrome streaming as regular station not available.

Trying to get work list in order.
Everyone have a safe and healthy weekend.

David

Free tonight, but watching the grandson part of the weekend. Need to get some yard work done and hope to get some more landscaping lights installed. I also have a new toy to play with on the cnc, so want to spend some time setting that up.

Dunno, but I'll think of something. This week I put in some fall/winter garden...kale, broccoli, cauliflower, endive, swiss chard, lettuce, radishes, collards. Got most of them covered with Agribon in caterpillar tunnels. Last night the dang rabbit ate the endive. I don't like bunnies anymore.

The main activity will be continuing with steps on my swap project Friday and Saturday. Hopefully, Sunday will be a veg-out day all the way!

Another activity will be researching new mowers. We've had a JD LA145 for 6.5 years and it burned out the main drive clutch, gear or whatever. It was going along fine, then suddenly - clunk - and it was not moving. Engine is fine but something went totally whacko in the PTO area. The best I can tell, we're looking at a minimum of $500 in repairs, so LOML told me we'll look at ZTRs. I know there are a lot of good ones out there, but we have a pain threshold of about $3000. Oh, well.....

Another Market weekend on Saturday... today we have a crew in tearing out the old pantry and turning it 90 degrees, moving part of the wall so we can get a 36" wide refrigerator into a 33 inch space... -- because of Dianne's back issues, our old fridge had to go and we bought a new French door one with freezer on the bottom... will keep her from having to bend over to try and get things out of the bottom of the fridge.

Sunday will be a kick back day... but if it doesn't rain, will have to cut the grass again and maybe clean out the garden... looks like it's finished for the season. Raccoons are making a mess with the corn that's left.

No plans, except that I have a memorial service on Sunday afternoon. So I may be able to get the lathe going, if it doesn't rain. I'm suffering from a severe tummy ache this morning, probably brought on by eating that one extra piece of fish last night, but if I live I'll probably get something done. Or it may be my memorial service next Sunday.

not looking forward to being my sons assistant as he lays the entire laminate floor in his basement.

Did that - with wife as helper - about five years ago. Covered a 14 X 40 room (her quilting studio) in the basement, including vapor/water barrier. Knees took a long time to recover from that one!

No gigs to play this weekend, but I'll be spending a chunk of time with the guitars. I had a revelation the other night about some tricks to do with my guitar rig (amp and effects modeler) so I need to spend some time dialing things in. Also still working at clearing stuff out of the garage so I can get the shop set back up. It's a long tunnel and the light at the end is barely visible.

Aside from the usual weekend chores around the house, I'm planning to go visit a high school friend in the hospital with some of my bandmates. She's not doing well, and it looks like we might not get another chance to visit her. :(

Gotta work on some projects in the shop tomorrow then I'm headed back to Monkey Island, OK (on Grand Lake where we moved from in March) to our old church on Sunday to fill in leading worship as the music minister will be out doing a revival at another church. So a little work and a lot of relaxing!

Ted I was gonna say bunnies go well in stew. :)
I hope to get some items off my project list. which i dunno it all depends on how i feel.
Sunday its my sons 21 Birthday finally he is off my hands as far as my cultural upbringing goes. Now he officially gets a key to the door. He of course cannot understand why mom and dad see this bday as such a big event. lol call us old fashioned.
so we taking him and a few friends downtown to nice restaurant specialising in grilled seafood and sushi. should be good.
weather looks good here this weekend.
