That looks good and much better from heat dissipation point of view, Any chance you have seen any difference in performance? Would not expect it but who knows I doubt you got it hot enough to make it change performance in your tests thus far.

BTW I saw a really good use for something like these lasers on a BBC news article about them being used to do fruit marking instead of the sticky labels. They say they have it down pat on oranges where it does not even affect fruit at all.

Now i have an idea for you to try out for Halloween. Get hold of a few pumpkins and try cutting out a lantern face on it. Could be a cool money spinner for a craft market for halloween. Would allow for perfect cuts of different faces on all sizes of pumpkins even a butternut.

Ideas of alternate uses of this power range could be numerous if it works on something like a pumpkin. Given thought to trying to cut bread or even a think layer of cast chocolate?

How about tin foil is that too thick for the power range?
