not much of a jig, but I really like how it works. I just built a bookcase with flute side panels. This is the second one of these I've built (the first one was probably 20 years ago) and when I tried to cut stopped flutes no matter how hard I tried I couldn't avoid burning at the stop. So this not only gives the flute bullet points but also eliminates the burning. Anyway, it's little more than a ramp at the end of the cut for the router to slide up as you complete the flute. Some pics: How the bullet point looks:

Here's the ramp set up. little more than a block of wood cut to form the ramp....you do have to have it smooth enough for the router to slide up with no catches.

Fred, that is marvelous. I would have thought the ramp would be less of an angle but then your bullets would be longer and more drawn out and not as eye appealing. Beautiful work on the bookcase. The background of the shop in the pictures, looks like a very nice, well equipped shop with a craftsman at the helm!
