Was just playing with a old piece of ash the other week. Just cutting beads and coves, with no intention of doing any thing with it. Well as stuff happens it ended up being this.LOL 50 inches long, using 5 pieces of wood. Two major pieces and 3 pieces of burl, dyed the burl green and did a little pyro.

Hmmmm, Ted said it better than me. My first thought was a shalelly (OK how do you spell sha lay lee anyway??) with a guy on it saying, "Don't mess with me ole buddy."

Anyway it came out great even if you just use it as the pull handle on a beer squirting machine.

That was my first thought as well. Now THAT is a tap handle :rofl:

Seriously though it did come out as a nice walking stick or gopher club or .. Google claims its spelled Shillelagh: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shillelagh_(club) and you know it does look like one of those.
