Still scrolling although I did take time out to help my nephew build a shoe cubby for his wife's 40 - 50 pairs of shoes.
Here are my latest works. Also gives an idea why I am wanting to set up my band saw to do some resawing. These are cut in pieces of Basswood that I purchased at a carving show last year. They are small pieces about 1/4" thick. I really like the look of scrolling in slab wood like this, but I can normally only get it in 3/4" to 1 1/2" thickness. Hopefully I can resaw/plane to the thickness like these.
Anyway this is what I did with the little pieces I had. Great fun
Oh, I also did the "Swedish Viking" between doing other pictures. The pattern for it was provided to me from a gentleman in Sweden.
