i figured it would be a nice way to use up some scrap odds and ends. there will be six of them, ready for the craft shows.

got a lot done on this one. started the production run of 5 boards tonight. cut all of the holes, vcarved the minnesota on it, then engraved the state. now all that is left is to dye the wood, and finish them up.

yup, doing pretty good darren. sanded all of them to 220. applied the dye to the sides, then the back, and then the front. had to go a little heavy with the letters, due to their being a bit on the deep side. just as i was about to do the fourth one, ol clumsy hands knocked over the jar of dye. being water based, i thought it would go all over the table, but, it only went in one direction, right towards the first two that were done. the only thing that stopped the dye, was the opening between the two halves of the table top, and it went right to the floor. pop wasn't too worried about it when i told him, as the concrete floor is a touch over fifty years old, and this just added to the patina.

Thanks they Look great. As you said these were for a craft show I assume at least some will be sold.
Do you just sell the boards or put together a complete cribbage set?
