about a week or so ago, rennie asked if i could help him with a sign. he sent a picture of one that they liked, and the dimensions that could be played with. using vcarve, i got a prototype knocked together, and with a bit of tweaking, the final design was approved by the powers that be. did up a quick test on mdf, to see how it would look, and to work out any gremlins. then, it was on to the real deal. got the mahogany (yes, mahogany) blank set up in the cnc machine, and the fun began. first with the numbers, then the decorative outline, and last but not least, the profile cut. now all that is left to do, is to box it up, and send it back to rennie for the final finish.
