A Shelf For My Books

Some workshop renovation.

When I got the new drill press I had to move the charging station for my cordless tools


About the only open wall space I have is above my sharpening pond (covered in the pics)


I put a piece of the 1" thick plywood there and now I can mount whatever I want in that space.


Tonight I stole some time and banged together a shelf for my woodworking books.

I know it's not much, but it is just do nice to have all of my WW books in one easy to get place.
I might build a little roof over the books to keep some of the dust off of them.

Yes I still have to build the new charging station, LOL.

It is actually an interphone for the front door and up to my home on the 6th-7th floor, installed when the building was built in 2001.

Looks good. Good idea on the red tape to prevent using the pipe as an anchor point too.

Always surprising to see how you squeeze everything into the dungeon!

Tonight I thought I'd try a French Cleat.


I think it will work out fine.

That looks great Stu. I need to borrow that idea, maybe carry it over into my office where I can move my batteries and chargers into the warmth.
