yup, $1600, really. its art rennie. i just figured a way not to use eye screws. since another picture of a similar item does not show them, i thought, how would i hang this? then, it hit me, d-hooks in back, wire between them, and rubber bumpers on the bottom edge to even up the space behind. that way, no eyes or wire will be seen.

D-hooks and wire are what you get on an Aaron Brothers framing job. If you're making a $1600 art piece, I'd suggest going with true professional mounting hardware. Something along these lines:

The bottom bracket and t-bolt might not be needed unless it's installed in earthquake country, or in a public place where you don't want it stolen. I've installed $100,000+ artwork with this type of hardware. ;)
