Cheese block Christmas present

In keeping with my philosophy that "there is no such thing as scrap wood", I made this from......uh.....an unwanted cut off. Actually, a couple years ago Tod made a door for the church I attended. I can't take credit for the glue up. I had to cut off one side of veneer to expose the laminate. A couple passes through the planer, a couple cuts with the shaper, some sanding, putting little legs on it made from pegs left over from a previous project, rubbed with mineral oil and .....viola......done.


BTW, the door Tod made will last a thousand years.

Someone will be very happy with that Frank, well done!

Aren't those fun to make? Just use desirable wood pieces taking up space. I've got lots of those. That came out good.
