New tools or toys and retirement.

I embraced the philosophy that life is short better enjoy it now when I woke up one day with a neuromuscular disease.
one day youre fine, next day youve given a life sentence that has nothing to do with your lifestyle. You are just lucky.

Ive always been obsessed with death, it annoys my family, as Ive had trusts and changed my wills as my financial assets grew. Ive made a small book entitled upon my death, it lists most anything I had at that point of value and where I wished them to go or how my wife and children should handle the sales. it annoys the heck out of them. but my father died before 50 and my mother before 60 no wills, no directions, very unexpected.

anyone who is waiting to do this or that and can Financially afford to do it now is being foolish. Very, very foolish.

and just because there are a few great woodworkers here up in age, lets say over 70ish, doesnt mean you will be in good shape to woodwork, at least if you expect to use heavy machinery and build large projects.
