I'm starting to learn my way around the laser software better. Here is a gift that I finished up last night. Also made of cherry. The base also has the persons name on it but I blurred it out for these photos.

This is on cherry. My laser burns are always black no matter if it is text or graphics or what kind of wood I'm using. I do like the solid text on this project vs polyline text (outlined text) that I have done on some other test projects.
