As mentioned in my xmas thread, my wife bought me this microscope for xmas, which I plan to use for viewing blade edges. Here is a quick test of how it works. Stu also did a demo of using this, but couldn't find his thread to link.
The microscope came with a base that has a suction cup to mount it on a piece of glass. I came across this design on Thingiverse, so printed it yesterday (20 hour print), which will allow me to use it more like a normal scope.
Here is a quick view of just viewing the print fibers on the platten, at normal and 4X. It also connects up to a computer to use as a camera for capture and recording video.
