4 square on the planer

another 2 min. 2 buck throw-away jig, if ya` have lotsa parts to square up using the planer makes sense but if the parts are narrow it`s kinda hard to keep `em from rolling over in the machine. here`s how i deal with the issue...tod

Steve how do you like you PC dovetail jig?

Its ok for the price. Does my drawers. Thats all I need it for.

Some of the brackets holding the templates could be made out of heavier metal though.
 
I like it Tod. I've seen something similar to do tapers through the planer.

Steve, Not sure I understand what yours is for.

Mine is also for squaring, planeing the board edge.

The cutouts are to clear the rollers and cutter head.
I c-clamp the ends to the infeed-outfeed tables.
Just space them apart for whatever thickness board you need to run through.
