These are so far from the beautiful refined work that you guys accomplish but I finally made something with wood other than laser cut plywood and such so I had to share! :rofl:

I used cedar so they will weather to gray, the logo is laser etched then color filled with black paint and clear coat, then planed off. I drew the back planks as well as all the pieces of the pattern in cad so I could load them up in the laser and use a vector cut at high speed/low power to mark the profile of the parts to cut on the bandsaw.

Thanks all, it was a nice break from cups and signs! :p

They may not float but true story, the woman that ordered them for her husband asked if they folded...... uhhhh that's gonna be a no. She'd sent me a pic of some that were flat back, flat seat at about 90º. I told her I'd be happy to make her some Adirondack chairs but I wouldn't be using that design because they looked horribly uncomfortable!
