i cut my own glass for display cases, does anyone know a simple way to smooth edges? i have some luck with silicone carbide using liquid soap as a lubricant. thanks

Silicon carbide sandpaper is the only way I've done it in the past. I've read of doing it with some type of diamond hand sanding pad, but unless you happen to know a source, I think good ol' sandpaper is the best bet. I've used water as a lubricant...does the soap offer an advantage?

i'm a little concerned with glass particles dry, i don't really know why i use the liquid soap. i quess water would work a little faster. i just thought there might be a better way. thanks guys
