Rather than get into the computer geek forums thought I would ask this here first. Was given an old computer by a friend with the condition that if I erase her HD I could do what ever I wanted with it. It's been sitting for a while now and I knew it had some problems. Thats why she replaced it.
Problem is it keeps rebooting itself. Never quite gets completly started and reboots itself. After 2-3 times it runs. I formatted and started installing W2K on there but it never finishes installing or if does it won't run properly. Usually get an error while installing it.
This is the second HD I have tried and the one in there now was in this computer. I just upgraded to a larger drives so I know it was good when I pulled it. I am thinking the Motherboard has an problem. Anyone disagree or know something else it might be?
