Granny is back

Wow, that looks like it's well built and was originally designed to go on either a bench top or pedestal stand. Is the motor belt driven?

Nice looking saw.

That looks like a very impressive machine, Alfredo. What brand is it? You and your sons did a great job of making it look new again. :thumb:

Vaughn
the brand of the table saw is Verastegui.
I don´t know if this company still exist.
Alan
it has a motor.
Stu,
yes, it is a combo machine.
It is also posible to drill holes.
I an not quite sure to use it,
but you can uses as a router,
if you put a router bit at the end.

Abuelita (granny) is a heavy machine.
My relatives who live in the north of
the country send it together with the
lathe. The lathe is working now and
granny will be working very soon.

Jesse,
seguro que mi abuelita se ve bien.

It has a big sentimental value for me.

Thanks for your kind words

Alfredo
PS I love my children.

cool old machine alfredo!
with the joystick it looks as though it could be used for mortising? possibly that`s the router configuration you speak of?
it`s great that your kids enjoy helping you in the shop! my 2-1/2 y/o likes to help too, but with his help i get very little accomplished so he`s only allowed to "help" on the weekends....tod
