Thanks guys for the welcome. And Stu that pic is too cool but today I have a hot patch (kairou for those in the Japanese know) on my lower back. Stu was telling me bout the place yesterday so I thought I would sign up. Already recognize a few names.

Another Canadian is always welcome here Alex. Other than saw up gigantic trees, what other types of woodworking do you enjoy?

    Hi Frank,

Basically I am a woodaholic. Love all things wood. I do mostly furniture for my house, small things and a little turning. Just not enough time to do all the things I want. I have big plans but small (reasonably equipped) workshop. My two biggest challenges are space and power; not enough of both. I gotta use the TS for a second bench and two transformers for the big equipment. I can just barely use two big pieces of equipment at the same time, i.e. jointer and DC.
