Little Gloat "FREE" Board Ft.

Been cutting nails for years, with safety glasses.

Probably hit maybe 10 nails in 5 years.

As I tend to hunt and
search and cut to avoid them if possible.

two weeks ago i hit a 20p spike in some "clean" lumber with a carbide tipped bandsaw blade.........i cussed!

The wood is White Pine..........How did I know..............small stamp saying so on the board.

There is another guy helping me, we split it 50/50.
The barn was built in 1930. It is weather just right, and 3/4 thick.
There will be very little waste maybe 10% as the boards are just about perfect.

Another barn that came down last fall, tend to run about 30% waste
to cut out the ..............whatevers, to get a board to work with.

For the newcomers here is how the wood is put to use.
