Almost nut gathering season

It looks like a bumper crop of pecans coming our way this year and I thought I'd throw a little something together to make the task of cracking about 50-75 anticipated lbs a little easier. Our trees are loaded and we are ready :thumb:

Made from scrap SYP and hardboard bottom. Cracker came from Duke's. Less than an hour's play time in the shop.

Steve,

I bought these off eBay, but since found them cheaper on Amazon. Search on Nut Cracker and look for Duke's. Several vendors sell them so frieght will not be free, but still cheaper than elsewhere.

Aint there enough nuts gathered here already?

Oh - ya mean those kind of nuts:D. Sorry.
Been picking up those kind of nuts for the last couple weeks from the neighbors walnut tree. I think the squirrels have been importing them into my yard.

Here sir! :)

Oh wait...based on the thread title, I thought this was roll call.

There ain't a basket big enough to hold all the nuts in this place. Heck, me and Clardy alone, with our matching red pickup trucks, would more than fill any basket I've ever seen. :D

Nice job on the nut cracker Bob. Good to see you drop in. :thumb:
