Did a try out with my new mitre saw, by making a low profiled segmented bowl.
Still I have to make fit the last segment in a segmented ring, so I'm not fully satisfied.
Miss a belt sander, and I decided to build an belt sander on my lathe.
Than I'm able to make half segmented rings, flatten these half rings on the belt sander and glue them together till one complete segmented ring.
Than I have perfect segmented rings.
Nontheless the mitre saw works perfect, so I maked a step into the right direction.
The bowl is 10'' in diameter, and is finished with two layers of blanc transparent stain. Used light colored wood, my favorite color
