Mesquite crotch NE

I wasn't real sure what I wanted to do with this little crotch chunk. It had most of the bark knocked off with a stray chainsaw cut and some torn wood around it. Thought about trying a HF with it, but decided on a NE midstream and pulled the rest of the bark off. Turned to finish with a couple coats of Antique Oil then buffed. 8 1/2" diameter by a little over 7" tall at the wings.

Definitely a whole lotta stuff going on in that piece. Excellent work!

Man Travis, that's sweet. I have no idea how you got that little straggler on the edge to survive the ride. You must just live right.
