Canadian supplier for Tersa knives?

Just to complete the story and maybe provide some help for later readers, I called eurotech in vancouver (http://www.eurotechservices.com/) and ordered a set of three 300mm blades for my MM CU300 at a cost of $85.

Apparently they get the stuff in coils. Gulp. Imagine a coil of tersa blade coming undone, like a giant (120m I was told) ultra-sharp bandsaw blade. Best hope you're not in the same county when it hapens.

What type of blade did you get, Chrome or M42 ? Does that price include shipping and tax?

Chrome on the Laguna site are US$21 but then you have some shipping and perhaps some tax.

Thanks

I got the HSS blades that for some reason aren't listed on the laguna page. Not sure about the shipping cost but it's only across the water from Vancouver to Vancouver Island so it shouldn't be too much. There's GST & PST too of course but I usually get away with claiming back GST since I'm registered.
