cut an old dead ash yesterday. probably 38 inches DBH.
It fell over so nice and pretty, probably because the wife had the wedges and a sledge hammer ready. Cut a couple loads off of it yesterday and got one cut off it today and I'm still not down to the butt log. I took some 24 inch limbs off it today.
The only thing I hate about cutting dead trees is they explode little branches all over the place when they hit.
Tossed in a pic of the trusty old Burb just for kicks along with the Robert special trailer. Best use I found yet for a Ford
