    And they are in

Yes sir folks, the chisels have arrived. I ordered the LN chisels with the cocobolo handles. I thought I was going to get some chisels with cocobolo handles, not so. What actually showed up was chisels with the hornbeam handles and a set of cocobolo handles. Well, as you can see I promptly removed "yellow" handles and inserted the nice ones. Now I have to figure out what I want to do with the old new handles. Now I know why I've seen some on ebay.

I think the pics may come out a little small. You can also see them on my site in this page.

    Hi Jim,

As easy as they are to swap out, you may want to reserve one or two of the Hornbeam handles if you want to really smack a chisel hard. That would save the nice Cocobolo handles from potentially breaking.

    Nice lookers, btw!

    Take care, Mike

I tried that route but seems like I never can win one of those ebay auctions. And I'm not the type to go to yard sales and such which is where I think most people get theirs nowadays.

I really wish you hadn't posted the link to the larger pictures. They're even prettier than I feared.

    Great score!

Yeah, how about some larger pictures. Those do look nice. Have always admired the LN's.
