When we were looking for a house, the real estate agent took us to see this nice little raised ranch across from a quiet lake. There was a garage door on the front, so I thought that was the garage mentioned in the listing.
The house was nice, if a bit small. Then we walked out the back door and I was greeted with this sight.
"We'll take it."
Want to come inside? Alright. Watch your step around the bikes and various bits of Triumph paraphernalia.
Triumph, I hear you ask? Yes, my adorable little '78 Spitfire 1500.
Here's the view from sitting inside the car. There's my forge, a couple of anvils, metal grinder, stereo and CD changer and microwave. For drying small turning blanks, of course.
On the right wall, behind the Triumph sits my compressor, dust collector, bass amp and various and sundry bits of rock climbing gear, camping gear, electronic junk and so forth. The loft up those stairs is full of summer clothes, Christmas and Halloween decorations and assorted crap.
And here are the Two Doors. Which shall you choose? The one to the left leads to certain doom! Or my wood room. One or the other. The one to the right leads into the workshop proper.
Let's take a stroll into the wood room first, shall we?
