My father-in-law found this tree pushed down in a clear cut, so we grabbed up a few pieces of it. The bugs had eaten it up pretty bad, but I managed to find a couple of small pieces that were still solid. This is one of them.

5-1/2" x 3-1/2" and I did a spray-on/wipe-off lacquer (2x) finish and then buffed.

That stuff smells great when cutting. Very much like it's namesake HONEY! Better than the oak I sent ya, hehehe. Still waiting to see what you do with the cottonwood and mesquite!!! Get busy!:D
