Feel free to comment/critique/suggest/opine...

12" wide and 5" tall. The rim tapers down quickly to about 1/2" or so. Antique oil and buffed.

WOW!!!!
I opened the thread and my eyes popped out. What a great looking bowl. Just great. Simple form, great combo of grain and the rim treatment, just great. GREAT PIECE...

Mark!!

comment - looking at the first picture, I couldn't tell it was a bowl--it looked like a platter - either way, I love it

critique - it's a very functional shape - much like a dough bowl from the 1700s - I like the rim

suggest - send it to me so I can inspect it thoroughly and ...

commment, critique, and opine further about it :rofl::rofl: (That'll be the day)

Beautiful, Mark,

(Not so fond of any NEs, so you can keep that one.:rolleyes:;))

Mark - very impressive work - again! The NE is amazing. Great form, color and lots of bark! The bowl is what I would call a show-stopper! Love the color variations, form, and the burn detail on the rim! Seriously - this is one very nice bowl!
