Lathe dust collection

And it works! I finally got around to running ducts all the way around my shop to the lathe. I wish I had done this a year ago.

I made it so the cleat fits between the ways and can be twisted in place. That way I don't need to get to either end of the ways to slip it on.

I still need to tweak things a bit, like the location of the hose, the length of the 'banjo', and so on.

Wow Joe, I missed this when it was first posted. The DC at the lathe sure makes a difference, huh? I believe I'm going to be stealing the heck out of your idea. Thanks much for sharing it. I'd already figured on the narrow cleat idea for a steady rest, but your mount has given me some ideas to expand upon for the Big Gulp.
