I like the table, but between 2 chairs with all those curves I think you'd also want something with curves. Just my $0.02 but I think it's too straight in comparison.

You could play with the cutout shape and the top supports to echo the curve of the chair and ottoman(?).

Doug and Glenn, thanks for the suggestions. I need to think on them. The legs do have a curve to them although it probably doesn't show well in the "old sketch". Here's an elevation.

Dang - everytime I see a design-type drawing on the net I want to be able to orbit and zoom and mess with it..... maybe I could get the NSF to fund a project to replace the current WWW graphics world with a decent 3D one
