Just a comment as many folks have been sorry. A 6" doesn't leave much depth after going through a sled or a thick ZCI if you plan to use either of those. HTH.

I'm not interested in selling mine, but I bought the 6" Craftsman set from Sears and it has served me well. That's the only size that would fit my first TS (and I still have the saw) so...

I agree that a sled can detract from the depth of cut but how does that work for a ZCI?

Probably wouldn't be relevant with a ZCI but maybe glenn's thinking about when you can do a poor-mans zero clearance by placing a sheet on top of the saw and cutting through that. I don't typically do that but I've heard about people that do.

I have a bt3000 and IIRC there are some clearance issues with using a full 8" dado.
