Good day

Just a small WIP of display unit, 100cm (39-3/8") wide and a height of 140cm (55-1/8").

Desined by my wife to sit on top of one part of the TV stand

White oak, 1¼" thick

On the previous posts you could see the cutting of the parts and now you'll see how the poor amateur is connecting them all together...

Regards
nik

Thanks for showing all the steps that you are taking Niki.

I'm sure that the cabinet will look great.

Just today, I started a oak framed glass cabinet that I hope to finish before Christmas. Mine will be slightly larger than yours.

Great pictorial Niki. This picture proves the accuracy of your joinery methods. :thumb:

Looking forward to seeing the finished product.

Thank you so much for your kind replies

Larger than this one ? wow....I called two neighbors to help me to carry it to the living room...

Well, from time to time I have to justify the time that I'm spending in the garage just to make jigs...otherwise, my wife starts with "you make only jigs...what about some furniture..."

Chris
Patience...I wasn't when I was younger...it looks like it comes with the age...

Vaughn
Yes, the jigs gives me a lot of accuracy and of course easier work after the glue-up...I mean planing sanding and alike...that's why I "waste" time to build them....they "pay back"...well, also because of my poor hand working skills:eek:
