Router or Dado blade, the verdict

I'm the one that posted the original question of router versus dado blade for particle board. Thanks for all the replies. The one reply I took to heart was the one that said particle board is hard on router bits. So I used my dado blade with excellent results. The blade is a Craftsman carbide tipped oscillating dado (so you dial the width in) that I bought eons ago. It worked great. Now to assembling the whole shebang. What fun dealing with particle board that weighs a ton.

What is a oscillating dado blade? Is it the same as a wobble blade?

I think so, it's one blade and as it rotates it cuts the width that I set it for. I bought it at Sears for $50, that shows you how long ago that was, I think it was in the 70s. It works great, but not as well as a router bit. But for particle board it's good enough.
