Hey Vaughn you made a tablesaw cross cut sled awhile back.
you had an idea I wanted to steal.... would you happen to have a link to
the post you had with pictures?

Thanks Dave

I found It thanks anyway Vaughn
I like how you had the adjustable fence
and wanted to see it in more detail.

I finally got some time off of work and am soon heading up to the shop to make one.

Thanks for all your advise and posts!

I want to thank everyone for their posts and advice and wish you all.
Happy Holidays... Dave

Well... here is my sled, Sorry it took so long to post it
but I have bust actually using it!

It ain't pretty but boy it works great!
Thanks to Vaughn and all that helped!

Please forgive the mess in the shop, I just brought back my
stuff from my son's house after my walkin closet project.

Notice the sled is over size for handling large stock.
I have washers on the rails to fit in the tee slot, which
keeps the sled from tipping when pulled all the way forward.
The stop blocks simply clamp in place with quick grips and
are left with a gap on the bottom of the block to keep sawdust
from collecting behind the stock that is being cut.
Also look at the bottom of the stop blocks, there is a simple brass
screw used as a micro adjust for fine tuning a cut.
There is also a 45 degree block that clamps to the back fence comes in
handy!

The front fence is oak. It is adjustable for when the fence gets out of
square. It has a fixed screw on the right and screw on the left is in
a slotted hole for adjustment. ( I stole this Idea from Vaughn)

Pulled forward no tipping. Oversized sled made cutting shelves up to 48"
long easy and no rollers were needed.

stop block with screw in and out micro adjust screw, the gap on the bottom
keeps saw dust from collecting behind the piece to be cut.

Repeatable cuts are a breeze!

Oak runners with washers for the tee tracks. Dang look at the dust!

That sled will come in handy, Dave. :thumb: Neither of my sleds get a lot of use, but they're great to have when I need one.
