My sons are off to a week at grandma's and did not want to go empty-handed. They made some cherry winestoppers and can't wait to see her!

Gee Pete, if you boys can make the wine stoppers than maybe I should jump in and get my feet wet and try some myself. They turned out really nice. That was very nice of your boys to want to make soemthing for grandma.

Great all the way round Pete, good looking kids too, I guess they get that from their mother :D :thumb:

I'm sure that Grandma will be real please with those stoppers!

That's very cool, Pete. Grandma will surely be very pleased. :thumb:

Joan, bottle stoppers are a lot of fun, and easy, too. I enjoy making them more than pens. I can be a bit more creative with bottle stopper shapes than I can with pen shapes. You should definitely give them a spin. :thumb:

That's really cool that you've gotten your sons into the turning. Those are nice stoppers and Grandma is going to love them. But if she's like my wife and I, after a week with 3 wild hooligan grandkids she won't need the stoppers!
