Unplugging the cord???

Yeah I got one of them. A Canedy Otto model made in 1909 I think. You are right in that the way it advances is pretty neat. Mine has a wing nut that you can adjust the feed speed by. Really cool. Here is a picture of it located in the background unfortunately...

I too have noticed that people in their 40's and 50's don't look old anymore. How does this happen?

Hey, I'm a lot younger at 50 than my dad was. Or at least I sure think so. If my dad was a crazy and irresponsible at 50 as I am, he sure hid it well.

I have and will always use both. There are some thing you just can't do with power tools. That said there are some things that are just plan crazy to do by hand when you have the perfectly good tool right there.
