Putting wax on tools

Lowe's carries Johnson's Wax. It is with the cleaning supplies like floor strippers and such.

Thanks Glen but unfortunately Lowes has not gotten out this way as of yet. We are just stuck with HD,Rona and home hardware. I am going to go to some furniture stores tomorrow to see if they have some kind of paste wax.

Johnson's paste wax can also be found at most grocery stores. Look around the floor products.

Hi,

Read the label. Some floor paste waxes have a NON-SKID ingredient in them. You do NOT want non-skid.

I keep this in my shop right along side the Johnson's paste wax. I even use the Gulf to lube parts on machines instead of grease sometimes.

Not many do it but I rub down plainer and jointer beds with Gulf wax too.

Minwax makes a paste wax Drew. Should be able to find it at any retailer that carries their products.
